Rema Mukena was named one of the most influential people in Bristol under the age of 24 by Rife Magazine in 2019. She is a multi-faceted creative, presenter, journalist and artist.
She's the Facebook Community Reporter for Bristol Live, working closely with communities which are under-represented in the media. Her writing on inclusivity has also appeared in The Social Detail, Black History Month Magazine, Bristol 24/7, Lapp The Brand, Tyro Magazine and TechSpark UK.

She's a prolific public speaker, appearing on 'How to Get Into Journalism' by University of Bristol, University of the West of England's Alumni Event for young aspiring journalists, running journalism workshops and speaking on a panel for Channel 4 X Livity, hosting a conference with Babbassa and running a mental health focus group, hosting the 'Authoring Activism' panel in partnership with Black Girl Convention, presenting the Young Community Leader Award for the Voscur Awards - this is just to name a few.
